Spring the best season to try a new hair style
FEELING a bit flat and need a new hair style?
Spring is the best time to give something new a go, according to Toowoomba hairdresser Erin Flemming.
Miss Flemming, who works at the Jazzy Lane Hair Studio in Duggan St, said there were three things to consider when considering a new do - cut, colour and style.
"We've just been to Brisbane to a hair show to see all the trends from the United States with Guillermo Flores and Deborah Camancho," she said.
"They had their summer about six months ago so now we're seeing all the trends filter through to us."
She said in terms of cut, short hair was still trendy.

"It's the lobs - the long bobs," she said.
She said the "cropped, textured" look with a nice sweeping fringe like The Big Bang Theory's Kaley Cuoco was a popular look.
For colours, pastels were still popular, as well as coppers and mandarins.
The ombre and balayage were still trendy - but this time with brighter colours.
"So you'd have a bright red going through to deep red," she said.

Miss Flemming said the style customers were currently asking for was all about keeping it natural.
"People want really simple textured soft hair - they're all asking for it to look like they've done it themselves."
