Truck and packed tram collide leaving 29 injured

One man has been taken to The Royal Melbourne Hospital. No details on his condition at this stage.
8:30 AM: A TRUCK has collided with the a tram full of commuters in Royal Park, Melbourne Monday morning, throwing the tram off its tracks and causing major delays on the busy route.
The truck carrying soil collided with the tram carrying about 100 passengers just after 8am this morning.
The impact of the collision overturned the truck, while the tram's side and windows were smashed in.
Herald Sun transport reporter Andrew Jefferson was on the tram when the accident happened.
He said it appeared nobody was badly hurt, but the driver was complaining of a chest and shoulder injuries.
Emergency crews are arriving on scene and treating passengers.
Ambulance Victoria said it was treating up to 20 people, most for minor injuries.
