Tom Cruise not invited to daughter Bella's wedding
TOM Cruise and Nicole Kidman both stayed away from Bella Cruise's wedding but it seems the Hollywood star was happy to foot the bill for the small London affair.
TMZ reports that none of the parents - on either side - were invited.
"There are reports Tom snubbed 22-year-old Bella, who married Max Parker last month,'' the celebrity site reported.
"Sources connected with Tom and Bella tell TMZ, she and Max wanted a super small wedding in London with a few friends and that was it ... no parents were invited.
"We're told Tom was not only cool with the decision, he footed the bill for the wedding and party at the fancy schmancy Dorchester hotel.
Some media reports suggest Tom stayed away because Max is not a Scientologist. We're told that was never an issue. We're told Tom and Max get along well ... Max and Bella spent Thanksgiving and XMAS with Tom.
The bride - who, like her father, is a Scientologist - donned a thigh-length lace dress with sleeves for the wedding, and was assisted by four bridesmaids in pink jumpsuits, who were friends and fellow former students at the prestigious Delamar Academy of Make-up and Hair.
Max had five groomsmen, two of whom are Scientologists.
Insiders claim Isabella has adopted her new husband's surname.
Nicole - who also has daughters Sunday, seven, and Faith, four, with husband Keith Urban - recently admitted she relies on text messages to stay in touch with her kids.
She said: "I have four children, so to stay in touch with them it's very important.
"I'm definitely engaged in it but I don't let it rule my life."
