Schedule for superfast broadband rollout announced by NBN Co

NBN Co has announced the construction schedule for superfast broadband to roll out to more than 26,400 North Coast homes and businesses over the next three years.

The construction schedule outlines the plan to network 9.5 million premises nationwide over three years with work commencing in the Cowper electorate next year.

The new NBN rollout plan which continues to September 2018, provides a breakdown of when the network will be starting in specific locations across the North Coast and the type of technology that will be used.

Nationwide, more than 1.3 million homes and businesses can now order an NBN service and there are almost 700,000 homes and business under construction.

Around 600,000 premises already have an active connection and are enjoying the benefits of very fast broadband.
