Riethmuller re-signs with Cowboys for another two seasons
COWBOYS back-rower Joel Riethmuller, 28, only made his first-grade debut in 2011, but the club has been happy enough with his late progress, re-signing him for another two years yesterday.
Tipped to be a key forward for Italy in the World Cup, the former Tully Tiger has now played 17 matches, including three in 2013.
He played almost 100 Intrust Super Cup matches before representing the Cowboys.
"Joel is one of the hardest workers we have at this club and sets a standard ... that his teammates are always keen to follow," North Queensland general manager Peter Parr said.
