Get the most out of their quad bikes while riding safely

THEY are common farm workhorses, but misusing them can lead to injuries or death.

To help people get the most out of their quad bikes while riding safely, WorkCover NSW is holding an information session at Bellingen next month.

At the field day on March 5 at Brierfield Hall there will be a wide range of safety equipment for purchase and/or installation.

A WorkCover $500 small business rebate will be available if any of this equipment addresses safety concerns associated with manual tasks; hazardous noise; slips trips and falls; injuries from moving objects; and chemicals and dangerous goods

Presenters on the day will include Matthew Brett from Tocal College and Tony Lower from the Australian Centre for Agricultural Health and Safety.

To register, phone Cassie Gardiner at Tocal College on 67631276 or email cassie. gardiner@dpi.nsw.gov.au.
