More than 300 volunteers needed on Coffs Coast

The Salvation Army has an urgent need for 300 volunteers on the Coffs Coast to help collect donations for the 2018 Red Shield Appeal Door Knock to give hope where it's needed most.

Each May, The Salvation Army appeals to the Australian community to support its social welfare and community service programs.

This includes providing shelter for the homeless, assisting families in crisis, and helping those with an addiction.

This year, a number of community collection points will have 'tap to donate' devices for those who may not be carrying money on them.

There will be a total of 10 collection points in Coffs, including Woolworths Central, Coffs Central, Park Beach Plaza, McDonalds North and South, Bunnings and more.
