Ice, ecstacy and marijuana seized in Toowoomba raid

TOOWOOMBA police have scored another victory in the fight against the distribution of illicit drugs after a raid on a Wilsonton residence.
The raid by officers of the Darling Downs Tactical Crime Squad allegedly found about 10g of what is believed to be pure "ice" (methylamphetamine), 70 amphetamine (ecstasy) tablets, 225g of marijuana leaf and a quantity of cash believed to be proceeds of drug activity.

All the drugs were allegedly found by police in one vehicle parked at the Wilsonton residence.
Officer-in-charge of the Darling Downs Tactical Crime Squad Scott Stahlhut said a 34-year-old man had been charged with supplying and possessing dangerous drugs as a result of the raid.
The accused man will appear in Toowoomba Magistrates Court later this month.
