Malcolm Naden to stand trial for two murders
FORMER fugitive Malcolm Naden will stand trial for the murder of Kristy Scholes and his cousin Lateesha Nolan in February next year.
Appearing via video link from the Long Bay prison, Naden waived his right to a committal hearing in a Sydney court and elected to go straight to trial.
The 38 year old, who was arrested earlier this year after eight years on the run, is accused of murdering both women in the NSW country town of Dubbo.
Nolan's body has never been found.
