Meanwhile, Summerland Way continues to be closed. According to Fires Near Me, it appears the fire at Rappville has jumped across the highway and headed east toward Myrtle Creek.
After a busy few days on the fire front, it's good to see some smiling faces:
UPDATE: 10.30AM
FIRE crews are out in the field this morning continuing to contain nearly 20 fires burning around the Clarence Valley.
"We have 19 jobs on the books but the fires at Whiteman Creek and Middle Creek Road are the two we still have concerns with," Clarence Valley RFS district officer Ian Smith said.
"Landholders need to remain aware that fire is burning in those locations."
Mr Smith said crews were on site this morning to continue working control lines over the next few days.
"Our goal is for these fires to become 'contained' status," he said.
