Flood warning issued for Bellinger, Nambucca and Orara Rivers
PLENTY of overnight rain has seen the Bureau of Meteorology issue minor flood warnings for the Bellinger, Orara and Nambucca Rivers.
Bureau of Meteorology figures show the following large amounts of rainfall have dropped over the past 24 hours: Dorrigo Mountain Top 84mm, Dorrigo 46mm, Thora 88mm, Bellingen (Crystal Creek) 190mm, Gleniffer 123mm, Sawtell 157mm, Toormina 104mm, Red Hill 116mm and Coffs Harbour 76mm.
Although the rainfall intensity has reduced, further rainfall is forecast today.
This rain is expected to cause minor flooding at Bellingen later today. At this stage it is not possible to predict the flood peak because of uncertainty over how much more rain will fall.
The predicted river height at Bellingen is expected to reach 4.5m at about noon today.

Up to 63mm rain has fallen over the Orara River catchment from midnight to 10am today, which has caused a minor flood warning at Glenreagh.
Further rain is forecast for the next six to 12 hours.
Glenreagh Bridge is expected to reach 5.8 metres at about 2pm on Tuesday afternoon with minor flood level.
Up to 152mm of rain has fallen in the Nambucca River catchment during the 18 hours to 9am today.
This rain has caused minor flooding along the Nambucca River at Bowraville where a moderate flood peak is expected around noon today.
The predicted water levels at Macksville are expected to be below below minor flood level.
