A LOCAL girl will have plenty of eyes watching her each night after being revealed as one of the stars on reality TV show I'm A Celebrity ... Get Me Out Of Here!
Ironwoman Courtney Hancock is a proud Sawtell girl who has found herself on the show due to her enormous record of winning three Kellogg’s NutriGrain Professional Ironwoman Series titles.
On screen alongside other celebrities Paul Harragon, Jo Beth Taylor, Val Lehman, Anthony Callea and cricketing great Shane Warne, Courtney said her goals while on the Channel 10 production are quite simple.
“I’m looking forward to making new friendships, testing my limits and overcoming my fears,” the 27 year-old said.
Those fears according to her sister Bonnie include any form of insects.
“It is going to be hilarious if anything to do with bugs or creepy crawlies appears because she is a fair bit of a girlie girl,” Bonnie said.
The 27 year-old is re representing the MND and Me Foundation which raises awareness of Motor Neurone Disease (MND) and its impact in the community.
