Country star leads new outfit
HOT on the heels of their debut performance at the Gympie Muster, Adam Brand and the Outlaws unleashed their first single, Good Year For The Outlaw.
The outfit also released their highly anticipated debut self-titled album last month.
Fronted by 12-times Golden Guitar winner and multi ARIA Award nominee Adam Brand, The Outlaws are an all-star line-up of Australian country music's best-loved and most prolific names: Drew McAlister, Travis Collins, Matt Cornell and Mike Carr.
The debut release is a 14-tracker, exploding with covers of classic rock favourites from across the years, from Cold Chisel's Working Class Man', to Queen's 'Fat Bottom Girls and Jet's smash hit, Are You Gonna Be My Girl.
It's all killer, no filler.
When you put five guys in a prison cell dressed in orange overalls with no rules, camera rolling and an agenda that says don't hold back, your going to get a video that makes a statement, and something that resembles a war scene.
Lines were crossed and then crossed again, some limped away, some packed ice on bruises and some simply collapsed in a corner with a cold beer at the end of the day.
But one thing shared in common was a huge grin from ear to ear and a devil-may-care attitude.
This is a band called the outlaws, after all.
So expect the unexpected from the videos and songs that will blast out at their live show.
See Adam Brand and the Outlaws at Moonee Beach Tavern on Saturday, February 27.
Tickets are $27 and available from www.mooneebeachtavern.com.au.
