The visit to Port Magpies received the stern resistance expected but the unbeaten competition leaders scoring a closer than normal win, this time by 22 points over the 2013 premiers.

What is most noteworthy is this is the first occasion in more than a decade that Coffs Swans have sung the victory song after a visit to Port Macquarie.

Meanwhile, Grafton Tigers had a comfortable win against North Coffs.

It was a hard slog for players and the brave souls venturing to Ellem Oval with rain falling constantly through the encounter.
