Bonville's birthday but it's the golfers getting the gift

BONVILLE Golf Resort this week celebrates 22 years as an industry award winner with activities running through until Australia Day.

Any player of any age holding a current Golf Australia handicap can participate in the birthday party with a different golf Stableford format competition held each day.

This Sunday to mark our national day, the popular Flag event returns with entrants playing stroke golf and placing an Australian Flag where their 72nd nett shot finishes up.

"We've lined up great prizes for nearest the pins, longest drives, daily and overall winners," marketing manager Damien Tarbox revealed.

"That includes golf vouchers at leading Queensland and NSW golf courses as well as play and stay packages to Magenta Shores on the Central Coast."

Each event has an all-inclusive entry charge of $99 which covers competition fees, green fees, twin share electric cart hire and a warm up basket of range balls.

"For golfers who don't have an official Golf Australia handicap, social play is available every day, also for the reduced birthday price of $99," Damien added.

"This enables and encourages all to take part in the birthday celebrations."
