Take the minions to a free movie

BACK by popular demand, Newcastle Permanent's Cinema Under the Stars returns to Coffs Harbour for a fourth time this weekend.

The free event will feature the family favourite Minions, rated PG, on Saturday at the Coffs Harbour Showground.

Newcastle Permanent CEO Terry Millett said the free community event was one of the ways Newcastle Permanent gave back to the local community.

"For more than eight years, Newcastle Permanent's Cinema Under the Stars has been helping to bring families and communities together by providing free outdoor events across regional NSW,"he said.

"Our fourth event in Coffs Harbour is expected to attract 3500 people."

This summer's Newcastle Permanent Cinema Under the Stars program is the biggest yet, travelling to 16 locations across Northern NSW providing an evening of free family-friendly entertainment, including a blockbuster movie, local entertainers and kids' activities.
